The Importance Of Training Your Dog!

Jack’s story captures the importance of training your dog. Many people have the perceived notion that ALL golden retrievers are loving, safe and obedient. However, when I received Jack at the age of four, literally on my front doorstep I knew he had training issues. Within the two weeks, we were getting to know each other Jack and I had an incident. He had something in his mouth and I went over to him to grab it, Jack let go of the object and instead bit my arm forcing me on the floor. That is when I knew I needed to put Jack in a management training program. In this management training program, I taught Jack how resource guarding was NOT accepted. Throughout the period of six months, I had Jack in a mussel and trained consistently. Due to Jack’s training, I am fully confident he is a changed dog that would never harm anyone again! Bringing me to my point that EVERY dog needs training! It does not matter if you have an eight-week puppy or a four-year-old dog, our in-depth training program is crucial in achieving a loving and obedient dog!
